THE LOVECRAFT ARCHIVES explores, post by post, the worldview of Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937). Each post consists of a passage from one of Lovecraft’s stories, essays, poems, or letters. By allowing Lovecraft to speak for himself, we hope to provide a more accurate depiction of one of the most popular and controversial writers of the twentieth century. Questions and comments should be addressed to our editor, Dylan Henderson, who started the website as a way to organize his copious notes. He may be found on the web at Hypnos Magazine, one of his many projects devoted to weird fiction and its practitioners.
